Solar Eclipse

The perfect Corona? A slice of lime and some sunshine. But when you don’t have those ingredients, nature can provide both. On the day the world witnessed a rare event – the Annular Solar Eclipse of 2024 – Corona embarked on a journey by immortalizing the moment with an iconic image: using the half sun as if it was a slice of lime. The activation featured Corona Studios photographers who captured the moment at strategic points in Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, and the Central Pacific. With just five minutes to capture the perfect photo, we carefully evaluated the climate conditions as well as the elevation of the sun in these regions, in order to capture the perfect shot. Within a matter of hours, the campaign was live across Social and OOH.​
