In China, Corona has been importing high quality Tahitian limes to ensure the best lime ritual experience for consumers. This is a costly import especially when considering that 24% of local Chinese farmers still suffer from poverty. Introducing Corona Extra Lime! Corona partnered with local lime farmers in Anyue to support them to increase the quality and yield of their limes. Corona Extra Limes were sold at a premium as a bundle with Corona Beer, and all incremental incomes went back to the lime farmers to improve their economic situation.
